Learn More About My Process Behind Designing the Composite
My goal was to create a new image where the woman was still floating on water but the water was digitally made
The Original Image
I had to begin by cutting out the woman from the original background
I wanted to differentiat my work from that of the original and a simple way was rotating her so that her feet faced the opposite direction than that of the original
Within Photoshop I created my own swirly water pattern
Afterwards, I layered all the necessary images, text and effects to homogenize the composite
To further harmonize the image and make it one cohesive idea I created a shadow that follows the shadow on the inner tube
What remains is the final composite
