Learn More About My Process Behind the Design of the T-Shirt
Here are the initial sketch ideas I had for the character illustration. I had an idea for either a dental bur or a tooth.

Sometimes with aspects that are either a bit challenging or I want to try specific ideas, I end up working on them on a separate sheet. For this project I wanted to refine the hands to give them some expression.

After presenting to the sales and marketing team, the creative director choose this sketch as he felt it best expressed the sentiment of the Fall campaign.
Final Character Sketch
I imported the sketch into Adobe Illustrator and began digitally illustrating the tooth character, using the final sketch as reference.

I like to come up with several different color and font ideas to present as it gives the team different ideas of what
the final product could be. I also added a distressed texture to match the retro look of the illustration

After presenting to the sales and marketing team once more, the creative director (along with some input for the team) decided on this digital illustration as the final design solution for the campaign t-shirt.
